Motors are generally supplied with spring-applied brakes. However, electric motors in theatre design are also possible, i.e., with two-spring-applied brakes in succession. In addition, there are electric motors with permanent magnet brakes, brake motors with frequency inverters, special shafts, special voltages, or electric brake motors in various protection classes.
