The company was founded in 1982 by Joachim and Walter Schulz (who passed away in 2001) as a limited liability company. Later, Guenther Schulz followed as an additional managing director and proportionate shareholder. In 1991 the company moved its headquarters from Vechta to Ahlhorn. On 03.09.2004 the company name was changed from SEVA-Schulz GmbH to SEVA-tec GmbH due to the retirement of Guenther Schulz. Since then, Joachim Schulz is the managing director and sole shareholder of the company.
